SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Any guest that has special needs, be it dietary, mobility or any other requirement, It is their responsibility to provide prior, written notification of any health concerns or special Dietary needs that any guest may have, that may affect their trip, and to inform Great Alaska said concerns, and to confirm that we can accommodate those special needs. Operator may or may not be able to handle special requirements that have if they are not notified prior to arrival.
TRAVEL DELAYS and BEAR CAMP:
Travel delays can be a factor in Alaska wilderness travel. We highly recommend extra time in Anchorage before and after your time with us, to account for any delays due to weather, acts of god, etc. Great Alaska is not responsible for any additional charges incurred due to travel delays of any kind. Overnight BearCamp guests especially can be affected by travel delays so don't be caught unawares. Your safety is our #1 concern and we simply will not fly if conditions do not safely allow it.
If your trip includes BearCamp, please read and understand the BearCamp Terms and Conditions
Great Alaska Fish Camp and Great Alaska Safaris are two separate companies, operating under the umbrella of Great Alaska Adventures. Great Alaska Adventures (hereafter referred to as “Operator”) reserves the right to alter any itinerary described within these pages for the purpose of safety or professional operation of said tour. Any additional expense incurred due to the altered itinerary will be at the sole expense of the trip participant. Operator acts only in the capacity of agents in relation to arranged travel and extended itineraries and assume no liability whatsoever for delays, inconveniences, accidents, expenses or mishaps of any kind whatsoever resulting entirely, or in part, from the negligence of others or from causes beyond their control.
Fish Handling and Shipping:
Harvested fish will be cleaned, filleted and boxed as part of the package price. Additional services are available at an additional fee: custom packing (vacuum sealing), smoking and shipping of catch. Due to bag fees for virtually all airlines, most guests choose to ship their processed fish by Federal Express overnight to arrive after they have returned home. It is also possible to take your cleaned and frozen catch on the commuter plane with you as luggage. All guests departing by float plane must ship their fish home due to space and weight constraints. IF YOU CHOOSE TO OVERNIGHT YOUR FISH HOME, YOU'LL HAVE TO PAY FOR OVERNIGHT BOX AS PART OF SHIPPING FEES.
Children 15 and under receive a 30 % discount (1 discounted child per full paying adult) on any of our Family Specific packages: . The Alaska Family Adventure, the Ultimate Alaska Family Adventure. On all other trips, kids 15 and under receive a 15% discount off our standard rates (1 child rate with each full paying adult).
Whenever possible, Operator endeavors to follow our itineraries as written. However, routinely, our trips deviate from the written itinerary due to weather conditions, group preference, fish runs, weather conditions, specific safety considerations, or unforeseeable circumstances; (collectively what some have called “The Alaska Factor.” ). Our managers will work with you regarding changes as they arise, however Great Alaska Adventures reserves the right to be the final decision maker on all itineraries.
Other info about discounts:
Add on charges (tax, license, transfers, bearcamp or fishing charters) are not eligible for discount. Discounts cannot be combined- only one can apply per sale.
