our cabins and rooms
we offer river front rooms with a number of varied layouts and sleeping arrangements.
Great Alaska Adventures is a very special lodge with homestead roots. We do not charge differently for differing layouts - we just want to put you in the best situation for your group.
Single rooms: We do charge a single supplement if you are requesting a room for yourself. Please be advised that single rooms are not always available and the charge varies, as we have limited rooms and a short season. Please ask your adventure expert for more information.
Family Suites: We also have 3 family suite rooms with 2 queen beds on the ground floor and a spiral staircase to a second sleeping room upstairs with twin beds for Kids. Perfect for families of 4 or 5.
THE VIEW
The main lodge is located on a bluff overlooking the Kenai and Moose Rivers, and the Kenai Mountains in the background. All meals are served in the main lodge, along with appetizers prior to dinner. The lodge's main deck is also a great spot for relaxing after your daily adventures are over, with its bistro tables and comfortable spots to watch the sun set (or not!). After dinner, you can enjoy a walk in the nearby state park and storytelling around the fire pit.
THE CABINS
The cabins are set up in a number of arrangements - we have 4 unit cabins, 3 unit cabins, a 6 unit cabin (nearest the lodge) and a couple that are single room cabins. All rooms have their own entrance door and open onto a deck overlooking the river. If you have restricted mobility, please let your adventure expert booking your trip know, and he or she will put you in a cabin as near the lodge as possible. Our property is approximately 25 acres, and the various cabins are from about 20 feet to a 2 minute walk to the main lodge.
THE Rooms
Our rooms all feature private bath and daily maid service. All have decks directly in front of or adjacent to the rooms , that feature an incredible view and room to enjoy it. Hairdryers are available upon request and all showers have shower gel and shampoo dispensers. If there is anything else we can do, our legendary hospitality staff is there to help.
