Itinerary

Day 1

Afternoon Salmon fishing
We'll pick you up in Anchorage at 7:45 AM for the beautiful trip to Great Alaska and our Kenai River Fishing Lodge. After orientation, you'll enjoy a lunch, get situated in your cabin, and then hit the water with one of our expert guides fishing the world famous Kenai or Kasilof rivers. Kenai Kings (catch and release) or Kasilof Kings, Silver, Sockeye or Pink salmon may be your target, depending upon the time of your trip.

Day 2

Trophy Trout fishing
Trophy Trout on the Kenai River is everything you’ve dreamed it could be - aquamarine water, beautiful drifts, snow capped mountain views and great fishing. Two to four anglers per boat will drift and wade the Upper Kenai River in search of Char, Silvers, Sockeye and especially Rainbow Trout. These days have the potential to be the best fishing days of your life. Return to the lodge for happy hour, dinner and overnight.

Day 3

Salmon Fishing
Today you'll enjoy another river fishing excursion, (perhaps to tangle with that epic 36 inch bow or Angry 17 pound silver) ..it depends upon the season and your preference. You may be wade fishing for native Rainbow Trout and Char on one of the many local streams. Bead casting to Dolly Varden on one of our favorite streams, or swinging flies to big Kings if that is more to your style. During the late season, you may target salt fresh Steelhead or Silver Salmon. The options are what makes every trip unique. Return to lodge for Happy hour, dinner and evening casting if you choose.

Day 4

Alaskan Fly Out Fishing
Your first day of fly-out fishing adds another dimension to the Alaska experience and often can provide a special angling experience. We will choose hot spots for the peak of a Salmon run on each day’s adventure. Typically fly-outs allow for a little extra morning sleep prior to departure and get you back in time for happy hour. Six day trips will feature 1 day of fly out fishing on day 4, and 8 day trips fly out days 4 and 6. A truly amazing experience that makes the Premier well.....the Premier!

Day 5

Guided Salmon Fishing
Another day of Kenai river Salmon fishing, or opt to Wade fish in one of our favorite local streams - Fly fish for Arctic Grayling in a mountain lake, sight fish for large Rainbows in clear waters, or perhaps drift for Silvers, or Steelhead, in a tidal stream. (Species targeted depend upon seasonal availability.)

ITINERARY NOTE: 5 day trips will return to the lodge at noon and checkout at 2:30 and return to the Anchorage by fl oat plane or commuter flight from Kenai. Flights not included.

Day 6

2nd day of Fly Out Fishing

Another great day of Fly out Fishing into remote Alaska, targeting Salmon or trout. Incredible flight seeing and sometimes spectacular fishing makes these days special. High mountain lake Grayling (sailfish of the North! are on the agenda day,and these beautiful and exotic Alaskan fish are hungry and not particularly bright! Return to lodge in Afternoon for happy hour, dinner and overnight. ITINERARY NOTE: You can opt to do a day of bear viewing rather than a second day of fly out fishing if you choose). Return to the lodge in time for happy hour and dinner.

Day 7

Morning 1/2 Day of Salmon or Trout Fishing
Today you'll enjoy one last river trip with one of our great guides. Species depends upon the season and your preference. You and your guide will return to the lodge at about noon for shower, good-byes and a 2:30 pm checkout time, departing the lodge via a float plane that will land on the river and taxi right to your doorstep. Arrive Anchorage approx. 4:00

Remember - if you don't own waders or your own fishing gear, we'll provide all the basics you need for your daily charters. Check out our pre-trip info for more gear info and packing tips.
