COVID-19 Info

Updated Policies

It is with great sadness and a surreal sense of disappointment that Great Alaska Adventures and Alaska BearCamp has determined that we cannot offer our trips in the current Covid-19 environment. All 2020 trips have been cancelled. Please read our latest blog post, to get more information on the making of this unprecedented decision.

Please refer to our adjusted 2020 Covid policies (below) if this impacts a reservation you had with us. You may reach us at our office, or email us if we can help in any way. We have greatly appreciated our clients attitude and support during these difficult times for small business, and look forward to a great 2021.

If you have a trip scheduled for 2020, you may roll the trip over to 2021 to a space available date. Excellent space is available now and all our guests who rollover their entire deposit towards a 2021 trip an additional $200.00 per person deduction on your final payment to thank you for your support.

As always, we recommend trip insurance for ALL travelers, and for new reservations we highly recommend you consider CFAR travel insurance (cancel for any reason insurance) for peace of mind.

Due to the fluid and changing nature of these unprecedented times, we must reserve the right to change these policies without prior notice. Please review our policies and trip information.

Info updated regularly

  • Our Main Lodge and BearCamp will be closed for the 2020 season due to the rapidly changing and unpredictable landscape of Covid-19 and (at this point) Alaska travel restrictions, we have taken the difficult decision of closing both of our destinations for the 2020 deason.
  • Trip change fee waived: there is no fee to roll over 100% of your deposit as an “Adventure Credit” towards any available date you choose for a 2021 trip. Once the trip is deferred or rescheduled, it is non-refundable. But in appreciation, you'll receive a $200.00 bonus per person on your final payment if you roll over to 2021.
