Your flight to BearCamp takes you by active volcanoes and massive glaciers en route to a beach landing , like the earliest pioneers of this incredible wilderness. Modern, heated tent cabins, excellent meals, great guides. "Spring cubs" in the spring, and Adult brown bears fishing on salmon in the mid/late summer. Day-by-Day Itinerary


Day 1

Day 1 Fly to Bearcamp & overnight

You’ll be met at 7:30AM one of 3 Anchorage hotels (2 airport and 1 downtown) by our private van for the scenic 2 ½ hour trip to Great Alaska.  (Please note- the ”no transfer” version begins with an 11:00 check in at our riverside main lodge on the Kenai river, and saves you 100.00 off the "from Anchorage" version.)  Lunch and orientation is followed by  a flight to our incredible bear viewing camp in Lake Clark. Following your arrival at camp and a thorough orientation at the camp, you’ll spend the afternoon viewing the amazing coastal Alaskan Brown Bears at the very base of - Mt. Illiamna, one of Alaska’s most beautiful mountains.  You’ll overnight in an electrified fence perimeter of high-tech Weather-Port tent cabins with heater, toilet, writing desk,  and twin beds.
Day 1

Day 2 return to Main lodge & depart

A final days with the bears…you and your guides will perhaps choose another viewing location, walk the beach, and spend the morning in true wilderness beauty with the royalty of Alaskan wildlife.  After lunch it’s back to the planes for the trip to our riverside main lodge.  You’ll have a few hours there to sort your gear and ready for the van trip back to Anchorage.  PLEASE NOTE: THERE WILL BE A LAYOVER AT THE LODGE BEFORE YOUR DEPARTURE BY VAN BACK TO ANCHORAGE.  If that does not work for your schedule, choose the "no transfers required" version.  The "No Transfers" version is complete when you land and are transferred to the lodge and check out- dinner on your own.
