Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1You’ll be met at 7:30AM at your hotel (specific pickups) by our private van for the scenic 2 ½ hour trip to Great Alaska. Lunch and orientation is followed by a flight to our incredible bear viewing camp in Lake Clark. Overnight with the staff of Bearcamp. |

Day 2Wake at your own pace, and spend the morning in true wilderness beauty with the royalty of Alaskan wildlife. After lunch it’s back to the planes for the trip to our riverside main lodge and your 5 day sport fishing trip! |

Day 3Salmon fishing in a power or drift boat. Two to four anglers per boat will drift, plug, or cast for Kings, Silver, Sockeye and Pinks. Combination charters will often target several species, including Rainbows and Char. Or you may opt to wade a mountain stream for Char or float tube a Wildernesslake for Rainbow Trout. |

Day 4Trophy Trout in the Wildlife Refuge is everything you’ve dreamed it could be - clear mountain water, beautiful drifts, and great fishing. Two to four anglers per boat will drift and wade the Upper Kenai River in search of Char, Silvers, Sockeye, and especially Rainbow Trout. This has the potential to be the best fishing day of your life. |

Day 5Giant Pacific Halibut are offshore in the waters surrounding Kenai Fjords National Park. You and five others will plumb the depths of Cook Inlet or Resurrection Bay and beyond for Halibut, Cod, Bass and Salmon while viewing glaciers, Puffins, Otters and even Whales. |

Day 6Trophy Trout, Halibut or Salmon fishing (as in Days 3 & 4). It’s your choice. |

Day 7Salmon fishing in power or drift boat, returning to the lodge at noon in time for check-out, fi nal catch arrangements, and good-bye hand shakes. At approximately 2:30PM, you will depart camp for your commuter fl ight to Anchorage. Note: many guests choose to return by floatplane from our private dock. |
