Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1

Fly into Costa Rica’s capital city and catch included shuttle to your wonderful downtown hotel.  Enjoy the vibe of a metropolitan Central American city shuttle catch a cab to our selected downtown hotel (hotel included- cab is not).  Overnight in a great, metropolitan city. 

Day 2

7:00 pickup at your San Jose hotel, then travel through a Cloud forest and Banana Plantations to the edge of the Jungle.  Along the way, stop at a beautiful jungle river for a whitewater rafting excursion.  Following raft trip, travel to another remote river for the final leg (by boat) to our waterfront lodge.  Arrive in time for happy hour, dinner and overnight.

Day 3

Following an early breakfast, you’ll target Trophy Tarpon or other species, depending upon conditions.  Return to the lodge for lunch and a brief siesta, then it’s back out for another fishing trip in another location, or a boat excurtions photographing wildlife and amazing scenery.  Your guide will explain the options for the day.  Return to lodge for happy hour, dinner and overnight.

Day 4:

A full day of activity. Following an early breakfast, head upriver to one of the wilderness rivers for a day or wildlife and scenic viewing and photography. An incredible day.  Incentive itineraries are completely flexible, so we can tailor the day’s activities while at the lodge to focus on fishing, sightseeing or both.  Return to the lodge for Happy hour and dinner. Follow that by a wonderful village tour for a chance to interact with the locals.

Day 5

A full day of activity. Following an early breakfast, head upriver to one of the wilderness rivers for a day or wildlife and scenic viewing and photography.
