Day 1We'll pick you up in Anchorage at 7:45 AM for the beautiful trip to Great Alaska. After a thorough orientation, you'll enjoy a lunch, get situated in your cabin, and then hit the water with one of our expert guides swinging wet flies or drifting egg patterns for the huge trophy Trout of the Kenai. go fly fish some stream. You may also choose to board one of our boats for a guided afternoon Salmon trip targeting King or Silver Salmon on the Kenai or Kasilof River. You can also opt to join our fly-fishing guide on the beach in front of your cabin for seasonal Sockeye, King or Silver Salmon. (suggested itinerary- see our Seasonal chart for your time frame. |
Day 2Trophy Trout in the Wildlife Refuge is everything you’ve dreamed it could be - clear mountain water, beautiful drifts, and great fi shing. Two to four anglers per boat will drift and wade the Upper Kenai River in search of Char, Silvers, Sockeye and especially Rainbow Trout. These days have the potential to be the best fishing days of your life. | |

Day 3An afternoon of Salmon fishing on one of our local wade fishing streams. During the late season, you may target salt fresh Steelhead or Silver Salmon..in the early season perhaps gorgeous Kings within stones throw of the ocean..or even a hike-in experience to float tube for Arctic Grayling..the "sailfish of the North". Definitely one to add to your own "bucket list" of species from the North. |

Day 4Fly-out fishing adds another dimension to the Alaska experience and often can provide a special angling experience. We will choose hot spots for the peak of a Salmon run on each day’s adventure. Typically fly-outs allow for a little extra morning sleep prior to departure and get you back in time for happy hour. Six day trips will feature day 8 of this itinerary and return to the lodge in time for a 2:30 check-out. |

Day 5Wade fishing in one of our favorite local streams - fly fish for Arctic Grayling in a mountain lake, sight fish for large Rainbows in clear waters, or perhaps drift for Silvers, or Steelhead, in a tidal stream. (Species targeted depend upon seasonal availability.) Those with us for 5 days will return to the Lodge in time for a 2:30pm departure by fl oat plane or commuter flight to Anchorage. |

Day 6Another day of Salmon or trout fishing with our experienced guides. Choose from Trout, salmon or occasionally both. Both wade fishing and boat/wade options. King, silver, Sockeye and Pink salmon all come into play during their respective seasons. |

You and your guide will return to the lodge at about noon for shower, good-byes and a 2:30pm checkout time, departing the lodge via courtesy shuttle to the Kenai Airport, or via a commuter e on the shuttle flight or floatplane to Anchorage (flights not included). |
