Women's Only Alaska Trips - Wildlife & Adventure
We have been providing Women Only Alaska trips for the past 10 years. Active groups of adventurous women join us for trips designed to provide education, exercise, companionship and fun. Start with a greeting at the railroad station in the beautiful Seaport of Seward. Spend 2 days getting closer to mother nature at our remote Kayak Camp, and then experience the awesome wilderness of our Bear viewing camp. Finally, end with upscale riverfront accommodations at our main lodge while you explore of Homer, raft a scenic river and hike to a waterfall to view salmon leaping towards their natal spawning grounds. The itinerary combines true wilderness experiences with our upscale Alaska lodge accommodations. Custom or schedules for your group are also available.
Amenities
These Adventure Safaris are designed to provide like minded women with a journey of Education, Exercise and Fun in our last frontier. The itineraries take the groups on a combination of back country encampments in National Parks and deluxe lodge based explorations of the cultural, artistic and historic landscape of Alaska.
Wild Bear viewing, whitewater rafting, Sea kayaking and splendid isolation combine perfectly with the ambience of a deluxe Alaska lodge and Kenai River front accommodations. Those that seek a less energetic agenda may choose the custom itinerary that includes all of the experiences but at a slower pace. Any of our current itineraries can be customized for your group of 4 or more.
Your time back at camp
While your days will be filled with adventure, we know the “Off the Trail” hours are important to the enjoyment of your stay. The riverfront rooms, with fireplaces, are convenient to the main lodge where your dining will be accompanied by wine and an unforgettable mountain and river view. Wake-ups will be early, with hot morning coffee to your door, and the evening fun will continue on the beach around the campfire, in full view of the returning Sockeye Salmon.
