GETTING TO AND FROM THE LODGE

Most guests now take advantage of our float plane service and fly to and from the lodge on the river. Schedule to be determined daily, however generallyl the plane leaves Anchorage at 10:30 am toward the lodge, and leaves the lodge at 2:30 pm headed towards Anchorage. The cost is $225 one way and $450 round trip. Commuter air shuttles are picked up at the Kenai Airport at 10:30am (schedule to be determined) and dropped off at 3:00pm at a cost of $150 each way. If you arrive at the Kenai Airport at a time other than the designated pick up schedule, you will need to catch a a taxi to the lodge.  Complimentary van transfers from Anchorage are available from the Holiday Inn Express (907) 248 8848, Millennium hotel (907) 243 2300 or the Downdown Hilton.  van departs at approximately 7:30 a.m. from airport locations and 7:45 downtown.  ALL SHUTTLES MUST ME ARRANGED IN ADVANCE- NO "ON DEMAND" SHUTTLES ARE AVAILABLE.

FISH HANDLING AND SHIPPING

Harvested fish will be cleaned, filleted and boxed as part of the package price.  Additional services are available at an additional fee:  custom packing (vacuum sealing), smoking and shipping of catch.  Due to bag fees for virtually all airlines, most guests choose to ship their processed fish by Federal Express overnight to arrive after they have returned home.  It is also possible to take your cleaned and frozen catch on the commuter plane with you as luggage. All guests departing by float plane must ship their fish home due to space and weight constraints.

EARLY ARRIVALS AND BONUS DATES

We occasionally have space available for those wishing to arrive in the afternoon, rather than overnight in Anchorage.  A $350.00 per person additional charge provides for happy hour, dinner, overnight, breakfast and an early start on your first day’s activity. Call our office for any questions regarding your trips logistics....we are here to help!

CANCELLATIONS:

Full refunds (less $200.00 per person booking fee) if written cancellation received 120 or more days or more before arrival. 50%  of all payments will be refunded if written notice is received 60  to 119 days prior to arrival.  All trips are non=refundable 59 or fewer days before arrival. Great Alaska Adventure Lodge highly recommends trip insurance.

Refunds AND PRICE ADJUSTMENTS

No refunds will be given for services, activities or accommodations voluntarily not participated in by the guest.   It is the responsibility of guests to provide written notification of any health or dietary concerns that may affect their trip prior to final payment.   Upon initial payment, the guest agrees to all prior stated conditions.
