Overlooking the serene Wildlife River and Kenai Mountains, the Tent camp is an ideal boat-in only location for accessing the myriad of lakes, streams, trails and Fjords of the Kenai Peninsula...  Breakfast and dinners are served at the camp, with lunch “on the trail” as you raft, hike, bike, fish, view Bears and kayak each of your days with us. A comfortable day lodge is perfect for dining and after activity gathering while the heated, high wall tents with beds provide guests with a cozy end to a perfect day. 

Our boat- in Moose River tent camp is located on the beautiful Moose River, on the very edge of the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge.  This is our base camp for tent camp packages like the outback Angler, the Ultimate Backcountry Adventure, the Kenai Multi-sport and some custom group trips as well.  For those on a tighter budget than the main lodge will allow, or for those who prefer to feel closer to nature and enjoy the solitude and vibe that only tent camp can provide it may be the perfect solution.

 

Just a few miles up the Moose river from our main lodge, depending upon the itinerary you select you'll transfer each day from the camp via our custom shallow running boats to the confluence of the Moose and Kenai rivers.  From there you'll depart with your guide for the day's adventure.  In the afternoon, after returning from another exciting adventure, your high wall canvas wall tents will be waiting for you, along with our cozy and comfortable day lodge where meals are served and socializing occurs on those (sometimes) rainy days.
