6/5 Anchorage arrive- Group pickup at the Ted Stevens Int'l. airport and transfer to your Anchorage hotel. Perched between the Chugach Mts. and Cook Inlet, Anchorage is a special place and a great town for for walking. We'll enjoy a special "welcome dinner" for the entire group at great local restaraunt with special menu. Ovenight at your hotel lots of shops, art galleries and pubs within walking distance.
6/6 After breakfast, the the group will be picked up by Great Alaska staff and sightseeing charter for sightseeing transfer to resort. (189 kilometers - 2 ½ hours transfer time). We'll enjoy a thorough Orientation at Great Alaska adventure Lodger and assign our riverfront rooms before the Salmon bake lunch at the lodge.
After lunch we’ll break up into two groups so the group can experience a more intimate Alaska experience.
Group 1 (+/-12 pax) enjoy a 50 minute flightseeng trip over Cook inlet, landing at our award winning BearCamp to view Alaska Brown Bears. The group will spend a few hours learning about the amazing brown bear and watching them in their native habitat from our safe, raised platform, before boarding the plane for the 50 minute return to civilization. Return to lodge in the afternoon. This is an incredible day.
Group 2 (+/- 17 pax) Depart right from the lodge with our expert, licensed guides for drift boat fishing for King salmon on the world famous Kasilof River. You'll watch the shore roll by as your guide strokes the oars, keeping your lures near the bottom and you wait for the thunderous strike that means King Salmon! This is some of the most famous fishing on the planet.
Everyone return to lodge around 6:00 p.m. for happy hour and "Welcome to Great Alaska" dinner and overnight. Each night at happy hour, the group will meet the guides, management staff and group leader to help plan the following days adventure. Hors d'oeuvres and alcoholic beverages included.
In addition, each night after the days adventure, each group member can choose from our nightly Evening Activities to either keep exploring, or relax on ther riverview deck overlooking the Kenai Mountains and enjoy the river rolling by. These activities are all included in the package price.
6/7 Following breakfast entire group travels to Kenai Lake for Scenic rafting trip on the world famous upper Kenai river, through the Kenai Canyon to Skilak lake. Along the way, you’ll stop for a shoreside gourmet lunch prepared by your guides and served with reindeer sausage and cheese with chilled white wine. Return to lodge for happy hour, dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, we'll split the group up for the second time.

Group 2 (+/- 17 pax) Will depart after lunch from the lodge to try their luck with our patient, expert, licensed guides to try their luck fishing for the world’s largest King Salmon. The largest each year tip the scales at over 80 or 90 pounds ever year, with most fish averaging nearly 40 pounds or more. Following the fishing we'll return to the lodge in late afternoon.
Everyone return to lodge around 6:00 p.m. for happy hour, Dinner and overnight.
6/10 OPTION DAY: There will be three options today...so that everyone may choose the activity that suits them. The three options today:
1. Guided hiking Great, moderate hiking in the Alaska backcountry with our expert guides.
2. Guided fishing on Kenai River for King Salmon – for those who want "more fishing"!
3. "End of the Road“ tour. We'll explore the art galleries, small boat harbor and famous boardwalk of one of the greatest towns in the Greatland...Homer, Alaska. We'll finish up with a visit to the "Salty dawg saloon" before returning to the lodge .
All three groups return to the lodge in the late afternoon. For the entire group, it's the final night at the lodge..private dinner for the group and special Goodbye dinner with king Crab, Salmon and Halibut.
6/11 The group will enjoy a relaxed morning before departing for Anchorage after breakfast. Along way, we’ll stop at Alyeska Mountain and ride a cablecar tram to the top of the mountain for amazing views. Continue on to Anchorage and dropoff at Anchorage hotel. Dinner can be on their own or a group event scheduled by us.
6/12 Breakfast at the hotel followed by Anchorage airport drop off.
