Great Alaska Adventure Lodge
The iconic, all inclusive Alaska Lodge experience
Sitting on 25 acres of the original homestead site, our Kenai River Lodge is at the very core of all we do. Overlooking the confluence of the Kenai and Moose rivers and an amazing view of the snow capped Chugach Range, our lodge is the the envy of other Alaska fishing lodges a quarter mile of the finest shore fishing on the Kenai River, plus direct access to great calm water kayaking and wildlife viewing on the Moose river as well. All rooms have a breathtaking view of the surrounding river and Kenai Mountains. 
Our central location allows us to create incredible, all-inclusive Alaska trips that access the entire Kenai Peninsula’s beauty and bounty. Our one of a kind, riverfront lodge and cabins are a memorable place to spend your evenings off the water and trail. At the top of this page is a shot of the dining room, overlooking the Moose and Kenai rivers. To the left is a typical room layout.
With nearly 25 acres of riverfront property, Great Alaska Adventure Lodge features a spectacular view from the main lodge as well as the 7 separate cabins spread out overlooking the river. At right you see one of our typical units, with 3, 4 or 6 rooms per cabin, with shared decks overlooking the beautiful Kenai river and Mountains.
Amenities and Facilities
Our rooms are configured for different size groups- singles, couples, small groups, "all guys" groups to families to large corporate incentive groups...everyone can enjoy our property..just tell your adventure specialist of your group's makeup....we have family suites with a 3/4 open loft and spiral staircase (perfect for the kids), or four-plex style cabins with 2 rooms below and 2 above-common wall and each with a shared deck overlooking the Kenai 
and Moose rivers. We also have some beautiful rooms near the lodge (like the one just above) that are perfect for those with limited mobility...they are just steps from the main lodge, and they also feature one of the best views in all of Alaska. Great Alaska is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible.

Evening Activities
One of the many things that separate us from many lodges is our breadth of experience and
our unique and popular Evening Activities. Each night following happy hour and dinner, choose from world class wade fishing from our renowned stretch of Kenai River riverbank for "fishing the beach", or head upstream on the tranquil, warm waters of the Moose River to access the Kenai River Wildlife Refuge (to see the nesting swans upriver in May, June and early July). Perhaps a game of cards in the main lodge, a fly casting lesson with one of the guides or just sitting on the expansive deck overlooking the beautiful Kenai Mountains. Dining at Great Alaska
We know that your time off the water or trail is an important component of any vacation experience. At Great Alaska Adventure Lodge, we seek to provide a comfortable, accessible place away from the "Real world". Chef Mike and his staff serve up authentic and fresh American favorites that everyone can enjoy. Vegetarian and special dietary needs or kid's items are handled daily, and all meals provide options to "go light" or stock up for the following days adventure! In the evening prior to happy hour be sure and check out Mike's bacon wrapped Halibut chunks or his smoked salmon and Dill spread on thick rustic crackers.
