Please plan on arriving in Anchorage the night before your scheduled Great Alaska trip.

Van

As a courtesy to our guests, Great Alaska has a complimentary van that departs Anchorage each morning. The two-and-a-half hour van ride traverses some of the most beautiful lands in Alaska, and we recommend it for those who haven't been to the Lodge. Please note that all pick-ups must be confirmed 48 hours in advance. We pick up daily at the following locations: Millenium Hotel (7:30) - 7:15am, Holiday Inn Express (7:15) andHilton Hotel (downtown) - 7:45am

Flights

Great Alaska will also gladly make flight reservations for you from Anchorage International Airport to Kenai Airport. ERA Aviation (an Alaska Airlines partner) offers scheduled flights between Anchorage and Kenai approximately every two hours. ERA offers friendly, dependable service and their DeHavilland DH-8, Otter and Convair aircraft are late-model, clean, and well-maintained. These quiet, comfortable aircraft offer a standup cabin, overhead compartments, ample legroom, lavatory, cabin steward and beverage service. Cost of this trip is $150 per person each way, and flights must be arranged with Great Alaska one month prior to your trip date. Tickets will be "Great Alaska Adventure Lodge Commuter Coupons" on will-call at the ERA Aviation ticket counter in the main terminal. You must check in one hour prior to departure for the 25-minute flight to Kenai. The pick-up time at the Kenai Airport is coordinated with the arrival of ERA flight 4830, at approximately 10:15am. Great Alaska staff will meet you at the Kenai Airport upon arrival, and greet guests in the terminal. Look for the Great Alaska logo on the hats and uniforms of our friendly staff. The trip to the lodge from the airport will take 20 minutes. If you are flying from Anchorage to Kenai at the beginning of your stay with us but are not booked through Great Alaska, please inform us of your flight schedule as soon as your travel arrangements have been made. For guests choosing to travel by corporate or private aircraft, the Kenai Airport (ENA) features a 7500-foot paved runway, a flight service station, published approaches, and can supply either Avgas or Jet-A-Fuel. Hard-surfaced transient parking is available, as is lodging in Kenai for flight crews. We are able to meet private aircraft directly on the tarmac with prior notification. Please provide the aircraft tail number and arrival time by phone, fax or email at least 72 hours in advance. Please plan on arriving at or about 10:00am local time.
