One Day Trips with transfers depart from Anchorage at 7:45 am from a designated pickup hotel. A Salmon Bake Lunch is provided at the lodge, then a quick transfer to the Soldotna airport for the 40-50 minute flight to the lodge. Day trips will spend approximately 1.5 hours on the ground before flying back for an air return to Anchorage. (Van transfer available.) Clients who drive in will meet at the lodge at 11:00am for check in and instructions. Overnight Trips begin the same as the day trip, with all day spent viewing the bears and exploring the area around the camp- dinner then overnight. After breakfast, more quality time spent photgraphing and watching the bears, then lunch, followed by a flight back to Soldotna and air return to Anchorage or to their car in Soldotna. |

Here are some things to keep in mind for those spending time at Bear Camp: 1) Bring a small day-pack/backpack for your things. The size limit is 20 lbs. per person. 2) The weather is generally cooler so bring an extra sweater/jacket and a waterproof outer layer.. 3) Bring a water resistant outer layer.

May and June averages range from low 50's to the mid 60's. July averages mid 60's to mid 70's. August averages from the 40's to the 60's. September averages 40's to 50's! BE READY FOR ANYTHING! |
