| Based out of our comfortable riverside tent camp, “The Wadefisher” combines the Kenai Peninsula’s best wade fishing with powerboat and Driftboat charters for world-record Kings, Silvers or Sockeye salmon (in season). Located on the edge of the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge, our boat-in camp is a unique, affordable and fun way to experience Alaska’s most diverse and productive sportfishing region. Rate includes complementary Anchorage pickup, all meals and necessary equipment (conventional tackle). The camp has comfortable high wall tents with propane heat, mini-decks and a cozy day-lodge for fly tying, reading or just getting out of the occasional rain shower! A Remarkable value. | ||

Days 1: An early morning pick-up by our complimentary van in Anchorage, or fly into the Kenai Airport at 10:30am and transfer to Sterling, where you will jump in a boat and motor up-river to our permanent Tent Camp on the border of the Wildlife Refuge. This will be your base for the following day’s activities. Settle into the camp, and spend the afternoon paddling the Wilderness Trail or cast for salmon on our beach. Overnight at Kenai Wildlife Lodge. | |

Day 2: After breakfast, you and your guide are off to the day’s choice of wade fishing. Depending upon season, you may target King, Silver, Red or Pink Salmon, Arctic Grayling, tide-fresh Steelhead, Dolly Varden or resident Rainbow Trout. Weather, season, and fishing reports will help us determine the day’s destination. After the day’s fishing, return to camp by boat for dinner and overnight. | |

Day 3 & 4: Following morning shore fishing, you’ll meet your guide for an afternoon of Kenai River or Kasilof River Salmon fishing. Two to four anglers per boat will target King, Sockeye or Silver Salmon on one of the our most famous fishing streams. Your catch can be frozen and prepared as you wish. Return to the Wildlife Lodge for dinner and overnight. | |

Day 5: Wade fishing in one of our favorite streams –fly fish for Arctic Grayling in a high mountain lake, sight-fish for Rainbows in a clear stream or perhaps drift for Kings, Silvers or Steelhead on the tide (depending on season). Five day trips depart in the afternoon by commuter flight or a float plane (not included). | |

Day 6: After an early breakfast, meet your guide for a day of Trophy Trout fishing in the Wildlife Refuge – clear mountain water, beautiful drifts, and excellent fishing. Two to four anglers per boat can drift the Upper Kenai River in search of Char, Silvers, Sockeye, and especially Rainbow Trout. Mainly wading, this day is excellent for spin or fly-fishing enthusiasts seeking large trout. It might also be your personal best Rainbow. | |

Day 7: One more day of Wade Fishing, followed by lunch and group pictures before returing to the Kenai Airport for your flight to Anchorage. Your group may also opt to depart for Anchorage via float plane from our beach. (Transfers not included) | |
