| This is the trip that started it all for us - full-on, world-class sport fishing, targeting the world's largest Salmon and Halibut, plus phenomenal Rainbow Trout and Char. You'll be treated to nightly happy hour, excellent meals, and riverside cabins at one of the best fishing locations in Alaska. Day 1: We'll pick you up in Anchorage at 7:45AM for the beautiful trip to Great Alaska. After a thorough orientation, you'll enjoy a salmon lunch and then board one of our boats for a guided salmon trip targeting the world's largest Kings, feisty Sockeye, Silver Salmon, or perhaps a combination trip (depending upon season). | |

Day 2: Salmon fishing in a power or drift boat. Four anglers per boat will drift, plug, or cast for Kings and Sockeye in May through July, and Silvers, Sockeye and Pinks in August and September. Combination charters will often target several species, including Rainbow and Char. | |

Day 3: Repeat of Day #2, or wade fishing in one of our favorite local streams - Perhaps fly fish for Arctic Grayling in a high mountain lake, sight-fish for large Rainbows and Dolly Varden in clear waters, or perhaps drift for Kings in a tidal stream. (You may also opt for a Pacific Halibut charter if your trip is is 6 or 7 days long). (Species targeted will depend upon seasonal availability.) | |

Day 4: Trophy Trout in the Wildlife Refuge - clear mountain water, beautiful drifts, and excellent fishing. Two to four anglers per boat can drift the Upper Kenai River in search of Char, Silvers, Sockeye, and especially Rainbow Trout. Mainly wading, this day is excellent for spin or fly-fishing enthusiasts seeking large trout in one of Alaska s premier Rainbow Fisheries. | |

Day 5: Giant Pacific Halibut are offshore in the waters surrounding Kenai Fjords National Park. You and five others will plumb the depths of Cook Inlet or Resurrection Bay and beyond for Halibut, Cod, Bass and Salmon (all when available) in view of glaciers, puffins, otters and even whales. | |

Day 6: Another day of Salmon, Halibut or Trout fishing - it s your choice. This is to fill out the type of experience you wanted or to bring some some salmon for the freezer back home. | |

Day 7: One final early "coffee to your door" wake up and a morning Salmon fishing charter in power or drift boat. Returning to the lodge at noon in time for check-out, final catch arrangements, and good-bye handshakes. At approximately 2:30PM, you will depart camp for Anchorage via your commuter flight or floatplane at your cabin s front door (transfer not included). | |

Day 8-10: You can do it all, including multiple charters, overnight at Bear Camp, or take a Kenai Fjords sightseeing trip - it's your choice while staying with us at Great Alaska! | |
